Looking at Taufua beach fales or Janes beach fales or Litia Sini beach fales. Could anyone advise which would be best. Would it be best just to spend 2 nights in this area and 1 night somewhere else on Upolu. For the first part of our trip we will be spending 5 nights on Savai'i. Re: Accommodation upolu Malo lava Taufua, Litia Sini or Fao Fao are fine, Jane's is at Manase Beach on Savaii / Are you hiring a car on Savaii? It's more important there where public transport is less reliable than on Upolu. If you wanted to see a fair bit of the island in the time that you have though I would definitely hire one. Reputable companies are Samoana Car Rentals, Blue Pacific Car Hire, Island Rento, AA Rentals and Sita Rentals, should be around 100 tala a day.
