A pretty village location, and perfect for a stop-over as it is close to the A66 (but still quiet). Varied menu for lunch/dinner, and they accommodated gluten free dietary requirements well. Great gin selection behind the bar too. Beautiful location, there's a wonderful castle and waterfalls within walking distance, nice rooms with classy decor, very clean and tidy The location is really good being so close to a66, the converted barn room is nicely presented and just perfect for an overnight stay The restaurant selection was fantastic with loads of homemade dishes.. the crumble and custard went down well,.. must say all covid safety procedures are being followed at this establishment And place is spotlessly clean.
